這次與朱拉隆功大學合作設立中心亦邀請到駐泰國台北經濟文化辦事處童振源大使與朱拉隆功大學副校長ProfessorPomthong Malakul Na Ayudhaya到場觀禮與致詞,兩人均對此次合作表達深切祝福之意,透過結盟與合作,圖書館方能面對21世紀不確定性的新挑戰。朱拉隆功大學圖書館館長Amorn Petsom教授更對國圖提供之實體與電子資源表達感謝之意,並強調對於該校學者進行漢學研究與臺灣研究之莫大助益,期盼與國圖展開進一步合作。
直到最近,一般公認首次有組織規模的道教教團,是於公元二世紀中葉(公元142年左右)由東漢張陵(後來稱為張道陵或張天師)所創立的。不過,以當今考古發現為根據,也許可以推測,在東漢之前已有類似道教的教團活動(所謂 「Religion of Tombs」, 墳墓宗教)。這種假設,迫使東西方學界積極尋找道教淵源、道教和更早於它的宗教運動的共同交集,以及華人思維方式當中的具有本相性和變相性之基本原素。質言之,台灣學術界對解決這個課題,做出了特別重要的貢獻,為解讀華人宗教現象建立了一個新的典範。
第二場由外交部臺灣獎助金訪問學人,匈牙利科學院絲綢之路研究群助理研究員可茉(Krisztina K. Hoppál)博士主講「奢華之魅:羅馬帝國的中土絲綢」。古代羅馬與中國的關係向來是熱門的學術課題,透過大量的漢籍史料,眾家學者從各個面向分析了羅馬在古代中國的形象。另一方面,我們卻不太清楚古羅馬之於「遠東」的想法,自考古觀點切入的研究尤少。是故,在羅馬帝國前朝疆域發現的中土絲綢遺存,或可為中國──羅馬關係帶來更進一步的認知。
活動主辦單位在會場除配合今年國慶主軸「臺灣共好 Taiwan Together 」布置,並安排相關音樂、傳統民俗、異國舞蹈、cosplay扮裝以及跨域結合科技進行多元表演型態,吸引學人駐足欣賞,也與表演者互動。另外,能在此見到國家元首我國蔡總統英文、政經界首長,以及駐臺使節代表等,各國學者都咸到榮幸;學人們也藉此與各方人士交流,暢談來臺灣經驗,留下難得的回憶與情誼。
