演講摘要：
Daoist priests and the spirit-mediums have an antique history in the Chinese world. Both sides represent an individual, distinctly different background, and they rely on some specific religious training. Both sides represent different vocations and serve quite variant tasks. We consider these aspects, referring to the reality that we saw and see in Northern Taiwan. We also notice that occasionally both, the Daoist and the spirit-medium use the same institution albeit serving separately a different clientele. We found it difficult to arrive at a definite assessment of their professional standards and norms. It is for this reason that we exploited some canonical sources (大明正統道藏) where we also find a few entries describing why and how a Daoist and a spirit-medium as unequal partners co-operate.
主講人簡介：
常志靜（Florian C. Reiter）為德國柏林洪堡大學（Humboldt University）亞非研究所退休教授。是享譽德國的漢學家及道教研究者，時常關注歐洲與臺灣道教研究現狀，考察並參與道教相關儀式。主要研究領域為中國道教儀式及法術、《道藏》的考證等。自2000年起擔任《德國東方學會期刊》（Zeitschrift der Deutschen Morgenländischen Gesellschaft, ZDMG）編輯。

東亞古典與當代文化中的動物書寫國際會議，匯聚學者開拓臺灣漢學學術前瞻議題
內容簡介：
為促進學術交流、發展新興研究議題，國家圖書館漢學研究中心於2025年5月15日至5月16日，於臺北舉辦「東亞古典與當代文化中的動物書寫」國際研討會。本次會議除邀請臺灣、美國、日本、新加坡等國17位學者發表專論、1場圓桌論壇，並邀請長期研究動物倫理的中央研究院人社中心錢永祥教授擔任專題演講人，現場嘉賓及網路視訊互動熱絡。
國家圖書館館長，同時兼漢學研究中心主任的王涵青館長表示，漢學研究中心自1981年成立，今年9月即將跨入45周年，中心除了充實館藏資源、經營學術聯絡平台，對於倡議新的研究議題與跨域學門之間對話，亦不遺餘力。因此，在2024年經《漢學研究》編輯委員會建議以動物研究為題規劃2025年度期刊專輯與學術研討會，館方遂邀請李豐楙院士、廖肇亨教授、李鑑慧教授、陳威瑨教授共同研商籌畫，始有本次會議的舉辦。而國圖也順勢在2025年台北國際書展推出「翻閱經典、動見奇幻」展覽，透過古籍數位加值方式，讓古代動物文學的圖像在現代重現。
會議籌備委員廖肇亨教授與李鑑慧教授也表示，有關動物史研究在日本與歐美國家，無論是在宗教研究、自然史研究、博物學等研究領域已經是蔚然成風，成果斐然，但在東亞古典文化研究領域，仍然是一個值得拓展的方向。因此，本次會議計邀得各領域學者發表17篇專論。5月15日上午，會議第一場次主題聚焦於佛教與宋代文化，探討包括禪宗公案中犬貓的譬喻、佛教中動物骨骼的使用，以及宋代「蚌蛤」的書寫。下午則轉向探討動物、文學與信仰之關係，各家研究包括剖析《周易》中狐狸意象的演變、圖像在動物書寫研究中的作用，以及宋人與野生動物精怪的情感關係。圓桌論壇方面邀請到長期投入動物史研究的黃宗潔、鄭麗榕、戴麗娟、陳恒安、李鑑慧等五位教授，分就臺灣本土與國際動物史、自然史等領域的研究趨勢、變動性與同道進行分享與反思。最後，李鑑慧教授以「百花齊放，百鳥齊鳴」作為鼓勵未來發展研究課題之總結。
會議次日上午，學者探討焦點聚焦於佛教信仰中的動物與神鬼動物形貌，包括護童信仰中夜叉動物形象的轉變，以及透過文獻文集中的鳥類博物學觀察。另外，在小說與故事中層面，學者藉由明代《西遊記》、清代筆記小說《說鈴》，歷代虎變化故事探究動物書寫。下午的議程則將目光投向跨文化比較，具體以戰後前現代動物園的探索、歐洲殖民觀念下的亞洲自然史研究，以及臺灣1960年代的金絲雀熱潮，展現動物與文化觀念、學術研究與政治、社會、經濟的連結，並在綜合座談與會者熱烈的討論中圓滿閉幕。

「外籍學人來臺研究漢學獎助」2026年度的申請截止日期為2025年5月31日，所有申請資料皆須於此日期前以電子郵件或航空郵件寄達。甄選委員會的審查結果預計將於八月底前通知所有申請人。外交部委託本館漢學研究中心執行之「部臺灣獎助金」2026年度申請期間為2025年5月1日至6月30日。

The Center for Chinese Studies administers two research grants: the Research Grant for Foreign Scholars in Chinese Studies and the MOFA Taiwan Fellowship (外交部臺灣獎助金).
Applications for the 2026 Research Grant for Foreign Scholars in Chinese Studies are currently being accepted, with a deadline of May 31, 2025. All application materials for the Research Grant must be submitted electronically or by air mail no later than this date. Notification of the Selection Committee's decisions will be sent by the end of August. Applications for the 2026 Taiwan Fellowship, which CCS administers on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Taiwan (R.O.C.), will be accepted from May 1 to June 30, 2025.
