108年臺灣閱讀節記者會於11月28日（星期四）上午11時於國家圖書館文教區1樓118展覽廳舉行，首先由臺北市立大學附小弦樂四重奏以及臺北市萬華區萬大國小舞蹈社為活動揭開序幕。

教育部朱楠賢主任秘書致詞時表示，欣賞表演團體優美的演出真的非常開心，同學演出的專注神情，展現的自信光彩是需要透過閱讀累積涵養的，教育部與國家圖書館、國立臺灣圖書館、國立公共資訊圖書館，以及地方公共圖書館的合作推動下，圖書館在館藏深化及閱讀風氣的提升上，都有具體的成效。未來教育部將持續整合公共圖書館資源，以更好的圖書館服務，提供民眾更好的閱讀體驗。

臺灣閱讀節係本館承教育部指導於102年度起邀請國立公共資訊圖書館、國立臺灣圖書館及22縣市圖書館、學校、出版社、文教機構及讀書會團體共同響應，所推出的國家級大型閱讀推廣活動，經過多年耕耘已成為每年全國公共圖書館的年度盛會，期以帶動閱讀風潮，將臺灣的閱讀品牌推向國際。

記者會由國立臺灣圖書館鄭來長館長、國立公共資訊圖書館賴忠勤副館長及國家圖書館曾淑賢館長分別介紹108年臺灣閱讀節推出的系列閱讀活動，包括國立公共資訊圖書館自11月開始推出「閱讀無限-閱動悅精彩」活動；國立臺灣圖書館在11月30日至12月1日推出「閱讀不設限.樂學無距離」活動。12月7日（六）則由國家圖書館壓軸，於大安森林公園推出「108年臺灣閱讀節閱讀嘉年華」，活動除包括「森林故事村」、「森林．泡泡．科普樂」、「Smart理財家」、「漫步森林趣」、「用閱讀環遊世界」、「小小愛書人」、「森林小書房」及「書香大市集」等經典人氣活動外，今年更結合博物館、公共圖書館及中華民國圖書館學會推出「博物嬉遊島」、「旅圖小徑」、「我們與圕的距離」等創新活動，總計有116個單位參與，規劃超過250場的閱讀活動，邀請民眾共享一場森林閱讀饗宴。此外，臺灣閱讀節全國性活動「全國閱讀小尖兵」，也將以3-6歲幼兒為對象，在全國52所公共圖書館辦理65場次的閱讀活動。

記者會最後進行108年臺灣閱讀節活動啟動儀式，在貴賓們打開圖書之際，閱讀天燈冉冉上升，大家在歡樂聲中，齊力邀請全國大小朋友們共同參與108年臺灣閱讀節，體驗臺灣豐沛熱情的閱讀活力。

Qualification: Ph.D. in Philosophy or related fields

There is an opportunity to work with Professor Tian Yuan Tan, Shaw Professor of Chinese at the University of Oxford, on a doctorate in pre-modern Chinese literature as part of his newly launched research project TEXTCOURT: Linking the Textual Worlds of Chinese Court Theater, ca. 1600-1800. This project has received funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (grant agreement No 819953).

- Project description
Court theatre was a core part of Chinese court and performance culture for centuries, yet its texts have never been amply studied. There are several reasons for this: their low status in Chinese literary history as ‘authorless’ performer’s texts; the vast (20,000+) quantity of texts and the difficulty of accessing them; and the lack of an existing analytic framework to study anonymous Chinese performance texts on such a large scale. Chinese court drama thus remains a ‘closed’ textual world, neglected in literary history. The lacuna is especially glaring given the quantity and richness of the extant texts: performance practices and other aspects of material culture are preserved alongside dramatic content. Furthermore, court theatre was among the most ‘outward facing’ of all Chinese genres, shown to foreign ambassadors. Many visitors recorded what was often their only impression of Chinese theatre culture. Chinese court theatre thus contains a complex series of closed, disjointed textual worlds.
To re-link these textual worlds, this project will build the first digital archive of court drama scripts and related foreign records. Centring on the textual database, the project aims to establish links among the textual worlds of Chinese court drama, following these main lines of inquiry: Were court drama texts only found in the palaces or also elsewhere? What additional or different data can we retrieve from foreign records, and what does this tell us about the intercultural reception of performance and visual cultures? How do we fully exploit and utilise the rich information about Chinese court drama embedded in these texts, and more importantly, make the collected data accessible both to future researchers and to the general reader?
The project focuses on four types of links: LINK1, internal links between scripts in the textual web of court drama; LINK2, external links to individuals and occasions; LINK3, external links to visual and material cultures; LINK4, cross-cultural links which situate Chinese court drama in its global context. Focusing on these links will illuminate the intersections and interconnections between the textual worlds of court drama.
The project will produce the first textual studies of Chinese court drama, including a court drama textual database, a series of monographs and publications on extended text-based research topics, and an anthology of English translations for the general reader. These outputs will remedy the lack of textual studies on Chinese court drama, contributing towards our understanding of Chinese theatre history and world court cultures. The methodology the project develops to study a large corpus of authorless texts could be applied to other Chinese genres such as folk tales and dialect songs.
The project, launched on 1 October 2019, will include one DPhil studentship from years 2-4 to conduct research focusing on LINK3 (court drama and visual and material culture) and/or LINK4 (court drama and cross-cultural exchanges). The choice of topic is kept broad enough to ensure that the DPhil student will have ample opportunity to develop and pursue her/his own research interest. The DPhil student will participate in all team research activities and will be supervised by Professor Tian Yuan Tan (Principal Investigator) and receive further guidance from the junior researchers.

- Funding details
The studentship is funded by the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. The value of this scholarship will be £22,970 per year for three years.

台灣新文學運動於1920年發軔，試圖透過文學進行文化與社會改革，回應時代所需。當時台灣新文學之「新」反映於新的文學語言、新的文類、新的思想、以及新的傳播模式等等。台灣文學經歷這一百年的發展，文學創作不僅有豐碩的成果，台灣文學傳統亦逐漸形成，而相關研究也在學院內外逐步開展。二十一世紀的台灣文學所面臨的課題與挑戰，與二十世紀初台灣新文學運動誕生之時，必然大不相同。現階段台灣文學之「新」如何產生？如何回應時代所需？既有文學傳統又該如何因應？

邀請台灣文學研究者共同來探討台灣「新文學」的面貌和種種可能，站在台灣新文學運動百年來所奠定基礎之上，探討文學的種種新生，展望其後續的發展。本專題歡迎與以下議題相關之論文，踴躍投稿：

《臺大歷史學報》計畫於2020年6月出版「地方的現代史」專號，由國立臺灣大學歷史學系羅士傑副教授籌劃主編。關於本專號的規劃構想及目的說明如下：

當代以色列史家尤瓦爾．哈拉瑞（Yuval Noah Harari）在《人類大歷史：從野獸到扮演上帝》（Sapiens [From Animals Into Gods]: A Brief History of Humankind）書中，提出一個很有意思的反思：「學者研究歷史，研究了每一個層面，包括政治、社會、經濟、性別、疾病、性、食物、服裝，卻很少有人提到這些現象究竟如何影響人類的幸福。這是我們在史識方面的最大空白之處。」這個反思觸發了新的歷史學研究的可能：如何更具體地從「人怎樣活著」，進一步探索「人怎樣活得更幸福」的切身問題。

20世紀以來的歷史研究，逐漸從以描繪朝代更迭為主的菁英史觀，轉向「眼光朝下」的基層百姓生活史研究。導引這一波史學發展趨勢的動因，除了源於西方1970年代的「社會史」與「由下而上的歷史」的啟發外，還有1990年以來歷史人類學的地方史研究。後者強調田野與文獻相互發明，重視常民歷史文獻與制度的內在聯繫，進而討論民間自主邏輯的呈現與運作等面向。

目前，針對中國明、清兩朝的歷史人類學研究，已累積了豐厚的成果，「地方的現代史」專號則希望在此良好基礎之下，聚焦於20世紀「現代」的歷史人類學研究。本專號的核心問題是：所謂的「現代」，並不只是由啟蒙菁英及現代民族國家單向「發明」與灌輸給地方社會，若重新觀察地方與人的存在狀況兩個重要脈絡，可以發現「現代」的發展，是不同世代人群為了「活得更幸福」，爭取更好的生活，結合許多當下可以掌握的資源後所共同創造的。有鑑於此，本專號期待收到相關討論，包括不同時代下的人群如何因應不同的內在與外在條件，從而解決他們各自面對的問題及其呈現的歷史意義。

本專號歡迎結合田野與文獻（檔案）、且針對20世紀以來東亞各國地方社會歷史發展的專題研究論文，也非常歡迎環繞上述議題的研究討論、教學反思與書評。文稿以中、英文為主。投稿者請依本刊〈稿約〉和〈撰稿格式〉撰寫。

《漢學研究》預定於 2020年12月出版「中國文化中的文武辯證」專輯，由中央研究院中國文哲研究所胡曉真研究員與中央研究院歷史語言研究所王鴻泰研究員籌劃主編。論文以中、英文撰寫皆可，中文稿以不超過二萬五千字，英文稿以 30 頁以內為原則。體例請參照本刊「稿約」與「寫作模式」。本專輯的規劃構想說明如下:

所謂「武定江山，文以治國」，自來馬上得天下，不能馬上治天下，安邦定國總需文武兼用。然則，文臣武將卻未必合舟共濟，兩者相輕爭勝，幾成常態。或者重文輕武，英雄氣短，或者軍武當道，文人仰息。觀諸歷史，文武之間的關係往往因時而異，相互辯證。古之君子兼習禮樂射御，漢唐盛世亦文武交用，不乏出將入相的例子。唐末軍閥亂政，文人苟全其間，宋朝以此為鑑，遂有重文輕武之象，但複雜的國際關係又勢必促成軍事英雄的崛起。有明一朝，前期文武殊途，後乃以文挾武；士人多好談兵論劍，允文允武者如王陽明，後繼比比，紛稱儒將。清代的文武關係中，更參雜諸多民族因素。降至十九世紀末到二十世紀，救亡圖存背景下的病夫與睡獅之喻毋寧是文武辯證的催化劑。在不同歷史時期，不同政治情勢與現實考量下，文武關係各有殊異，社會文化也有相應的陳述與評價。文學的表現更為豐富，不論史遷刻畫名將，或李白詩頌武俠，皆垂為經典，而宋元以降的戲曲小說則常見文士武人在時代因緣際會下的浮沉起落。甚至詩詞歌賦的風格變化，也可能與時代軌跡中的文武辯證相表裡。

以上種種，不過是「中國文化中的文武辯證」之浮光掠影，概略舉隅，相關問題還有極大的討論空間。文人文化一直是學術討論的重點，而近年學界對軍武、武俠等議題亦迭有精彩的論述，我們希望藉本專輯進一步凝聚思考，反省「文」與「武」在觀念與實踐上的歷史變遷，促進學界對文武辯證關係的挖掘與重新評價。本專輯自即日起歡迎學界方家賜稿，從各個角度予以析論。

朱熹學術影響深遠，人所共知，然而前人研究不免集中於理學考察，內容既以語錄為主，又往往在心學、理學對舉當中，檢覈朱熹義理思考，雖得見其精彩，卻隱然暗示朱熹學術未達究竟，理存於外，屬於支離學問。擴而及於歷史文獻考察，則是以宋代儒學發展，觀察朱熹學術進程，則又得見南宋不同學術社群當中，朱熹於道南、湖湘、金華、金谿諸家並起當中，援取批判，兼融而取，昂然而起，然而是否符合北宋以來儒學精神，則又不免存疑，對於朱熹學術之究竟，隱然存在不同角度的觀察，卻也有視野當中的盲點。然而近人何佑森教授〈朱子學與近世思想〉言：「朱子學博大精深，前後經歷了四個世紀，每當時代動亂，思想的發展有了偏差，唯一能補偏救弊的，則只有朱子一脈相傳的儒學。」則朱熹學術有益於世道人心，有救偏之助；晚近以東亞儒學視野，建構文化思想的觀察，更能發覺朱學已然擴散至朝鮮、日本、越南等，東亞儒學是在朱學基礎上，各自脈絡化的結果，則又可見空間上廣泛之影響。其中存在理解的落差，為求有進一步的澄清，以及學術更多維度的觀察，援以「『理學』與『經學』：朱熹學術多層次、多維度考察」為主題，期以徵集理學、經學當中，不同學術層面分析之論文，以多維角度深入朱熹學術究竟。

專題：中國「鬼文化」專題

中國是「鬼」文化蘊含量非常豐富的文化圈，從上古、中古到近、現代，都有無數有關「鬼」文化的思想及相關文學、藝術的創作，涵蓋面之廣，影響之深，是舉世聞名的。究竟中國人對「鬼」有若何的觀念？其觀念之產生，與中國文化間的關係如何？歷代有多少的文學、藝術創作足以深刻呈顯此一「鬼」文化的心靈？時至今日，我們應當如何面對此一豐富的「鬼」文化遺產？……種種問題，都還有待學者戮力探討。

基於此，本刊擬以「中國鬼文化」展開策劃，廣邀各領域中的學者專家，針對與「鬼」有關的各項議題，撰寫論文，展開討論。基本上，我們設定了數個主題，供學者參酌：
(1)文學上的鬼：包含歷代鬼怪戲曲與小說、兩岸鬼故事
(2)建築、雕塑及繪畫上的「鬼」
(3)電影中的「鬼」
(4)民俗宗教與「鬼」
(5)哲學思維中的「鬼」
(6)從科學角度談「鬼」

經由前述議題的擬訂，以及各不同領域學者的參與，我們相信，有關「鬼」文化的討論，必然能取得相當紮實的成果，為未來「鬼」文化更進一層的深究與拓展，鋪墊良好的基礎。

本期專刊竭誠歡迎具時間向度、兼融古今的「中國鬼文化」論述，希望能藉此主題匯聚多元的學思成果，展開更深入的對話。預定出刊時間為2020年6月，敬邀海內外學界先進惠賜鴻文，截稿日期為2020年1月31日。
